"Voici le second vidéo clip du nouvel album « Crown Yard » des ASM. Ce track imposant et lourd au groove funky est accompagné par un récit visuel qui tourne autour de la street artiste Liliwenn, fondatrice du projet Crimes of Minds.

Le concept de cette vidéo se tisse dans la création d'un scénario s'intégrant dans un monde alternatif où l'expression créative est institutionnellement oppressée. Se basant sur l'acte de peindre illégalement (moyen d'expression symbolique), le résultat est une vision dystopique mêlée à un côté joyeux et insouciant.

Nous suivons les trois membres des ASM, Fade, FP et Green T, se faufilant à travers les rues de Paris pour procurer illégalement des bombes de peinture à l'artiste Liliwenn afin qu'elle termine une fresque, ceci en esquivant et en évitant le détective qui est sur leur trace joué par l'acteur français Yann Sorton.

ASM (A State of Mind) est un groupe international hip hop/funk qui a fait ses armes et a gagné une reconnaissance internationale en collaborant sur les deux singles de Wax Tailor « Positively Inclined » et « Say Yes ». Après le succès de leurs débuts sur l'album « Platypus funk » et après près de deux ans de tournée constante, ASM revient le 31 octobre avec leur nouvel album « Crown Yard ».

L'album résonne telle une bande sonore de film des années 1970. Et tandis que leurs fraîches énergies combinées se révèlent à travers chaque track, la profondeur des grooves, la précision des rimes et la complexité musicale de CROWN YARD font ressortir le message clair et prépondérant : les ASM sont bel et bien arrivés.

Liliwenn, artiste française originaire du « bout du monde », est une street artist internationale qui se plaît à casser cadres et frontières, prônant une liberté et exprimant les émotions les plus viscérales avec un grain de poésie et de rêve. Après s'être exportée en Angleterre, Espagne, Italie et en Argentine, elle créé en 2011 le projet Crimes of Minds dont l'objectif est de repousser les limites, informer et développer l'art urbain dans son aspect contextuel."

"This is the second video release from ASM’s new album CROWN YARD. The thick funk-heavy groove of the track is accompanied by a visual narrative that revolves around the street artist Liliwenn, founder of the Crimes of Minds project.

The concept for the video was to create a storyline within an alternate world where creative expression is institutionally stifled to the extent that paint (symbolic for means of expression) has been made illegal. The result is a dystopian vision with a light-hearted true school edge.

We follow the three members of ASM, Fade, FP, and Green-T as they weave through the streets of Paris in order to illegally procure cans for the artist Liliwenn to complete a painting, while dodging and avoiding the detective who is on their trail (played by French actor Yann Sorton).

ASM (A State of Mind) are an international hip hop/funk outfit who made their bones featuring on the two Wax Tailor singles “Positively Inclined” and “Say Yes”. After the success of their debut album “Platypus Funk” and nearly 2 years of constant touring, ASM returned on October 31st with their new album “Crown Yard”.
